Project - 1st Sept -24 Gaushala

Shri Guruji takes care of cows who are left on the streets by the villagers or ashrams once they stop milking or get sick. Some come from accidents , some are newly born and are attacked by dogs or other animals . Male calves are all left on the streets as they don’t serve any purpose. Guruji has a shed by Ganga ma and in the forest to look after the cows . They drink Ganga jis water and graze in the forest and are never tied. So in the free natural environment most of them recover. They are given wholesome food including Hara chara , bhusa , mixture ( chana , makka , dal chura chokar khali ), gur. A few cows that give milk are only taken by the calves and none of the milk is taken for human consumption. Hence the calves are healthy and strong. Doctors come regularly for treatment of the cows. Guruji’s shed is the only place in the entire stretch that accepts cows in need without any donation. There is no other place for cows to go if there is any accidents. Illegal slaughter of cows saved by the police is also given to this goshala. Guruji saves the ones left in the jungle also. Many of them come in a very sorry state and leave the body. Guruji buries them by Ganga ji. It is said that cows radiate simplicity and in their presence humans can recover from any disease. As the cows take it on themselves. In their presence humans become simple. Dharm arth kaam moksh bhakti, all the purposes are fulfilled by their seva and their presence. Hence to save Hinduism and for spiritual development cows are key. Even their dung and urine are used in our puja and can cure many diseases and environment problems. Our President Dr.Jyoti Dabholkar has donated 20000/- Rs towards this Gaushala.
