There were three sessions scheduled for 2nd September, Monday
*CSA conduction review*
The session with the teachers was a pleasure, with many attentively listening and actively participating in discussions on various aspects of child sexual abuse. While the engagement was primarily through brief, closed-ended responses, several teachers later shared that they found the session important and helpful.
*MBMS conduction review*: There were approximately 28 children (4-7 years) in the first batch and 35 children (7-11 years) in the second batch.
The students in both the batches showed a lot of interest and excitement towards the program. They responded really well to the visuals given, for example: When they were shown faces on the emotion chart, they were able to emulate that quicker. More energizers were used with the younger age group children to help regulate their energy as they appeared to be a bit distracted. Reciting the names of private body parts, body safety rule and the 3 safety actions helped them recall the information.
The older age group understood the information readily and there were very participative in the program as well.
