Continuing with *Part 2 of our Cancer Patient Care initiative,* IWCBN distributed umbrellas to cancer patients to help them brave the monsoons with dignity. A wholesome lunch was also served, generously sponsored by Mr. *Ajay Kejriwal* .

 

In addition, IWCBN extended its support to *Utsaav* , an NGO run by a cancer survivor himself.

 *Abhiram* came to Mumbai for treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital, where he underwent leg amputation. With unwavering spirit, he now walks with a prosthetic leg. Choosing to stay back in Mumbai, *Abhiram* transformed his personal journey into a mission of service by founding *Utsaah* , where he provides food and shelter to cancer patients in need.

Umbrellas were distributed to *Utsaah* as a token of solidarity and encouragement in their selfless work.

 

The initiative was graced by the presence of *President Chahna Gandhi, Vice President Jayshree Lakhotia, Past President Shirley Lazarus, Sadhana Doshi, Usha Merchant, Ameeta Sanghvi, and myself.*
